A great thank you goes to Diego Jimbo, the founder of the organization, and the whole team of FUPEC for enabling us to accompany them on a visit to Guayaquil, Portoviejo and Manta. Within the programme of the distribution of packages with toys, sanitary products and educational materials to the patients we traveled to Guayaquil and Portoviejo to be able to give them the presents and furthermore to be able to connect with them in person. All in all we had three meetings, two of them with patients of Hemophilia, one meeting with patients of Leukemia. Since our Airbnb was in Manta, we were able to get to know three different Ecuadorian cities. For us, it was an enriching and unique experience and we were able to learn many new things about the Ecuadorian culture. Also we became closer with the team 🙂.
