Embark on an unforgettable journey through the heart of Ecuador with this exclusive Cultural Road Trip.
Join us as we delve into the mystical Andes mountains to discover a hidden gem, the awe-inspiring Cubilán waterfall* nestled within an ancient archaeological site in one of the country’s largest private nature reserves, La Comuna Marcos Perez de Castilla in Oña, Azuay.
As you trek through breathtaking landscapes, your senses will be heightened by the pristine beauty of nature surrounding you.
Traverse along sections of the ancient Inca trail to the impressive waterfall and marvel at the sights and sounds of the rich history of the area. This site was an ancient trading route for people of the Andes to the coast and is believed to be 12,000 – 15,000 years old!
But the adventure doesn’t end there. After basking in the splendor of the waterfall, we will witness the conservation efforts firsthand as we explore the reforestation site, organic nursery, and state-of-the-art bioconstruction visitor center of the nature reserve.
Don’t miss this chance to uncover the secrets of Ecuador’s ancient past while immersing yourself in the unparalleled beauty of its natural landscapes. With each step, you’ll be creating memories that will last a lifetime.
(Includes guides, entrance to the reserve, breakfast, and lunch (vegetarian options available), transportation)

The hike to the waterfall is on uneven terrain and is not very steep, however, it is at 3100 meters, so the altitude heightens its difficulty.
