How we live today defines the existence of tomorrow.
Tito Merino (Puyo, Amazon) and Mercedes Quizhpe (Saraguro, Andes) invite us to reflect on how their communities have cared for the Amazon jungle and the Andean highlands for thousands of years as an “Ayllu”, community. Tito of the Kichwa-Amazonico people and Mercedes of the Saraguro people will share how their communities make collective decisions for the well-being of their people, their culture, the environment, and, ultimately, the planet.
