In this salon, art historian Berenice Cárdenas will talk about colonial Cuenca in the 16th, 17th & 18th centuries and show a variety of images of churches and houses that helped make Cuenca an UNESCO World Heritage site. She will discuss colonial Spanish-Indigenous Cuenca, its architecture, art, life style, food as well as the different European architectural styles and their reinterpretation in Cuenca, including times of the Republicans and Francophiles.
