Maite Duran

Founder and President of Gringo Visas.  Maite was born in Ecuador, and moved to the US as a teenager, where she attended and graduated high school and college. After a successful career in real estate and finance, she returned to Ecuador to be closer to her family. Recognizing the growing need for a service that not only specialized in Visas, but could also deliver the level of customer service that Expats expect, Maité founded Gringo Visas. Maite opened Gringo Visas’ Cuenca headquarters with a multi-lingual team, including legal counsel. In Quito, the Ecuadorian capital, she positioned her staff near the immigration headquarters to benefit clients. And finally, due to the increasing number of American Expats relocating to Ecuador, she opened a fully staffed office in the United States. Over the years, Gringo Visas has successfully processed all types of Visas for hundreds of Expats from around the world.
