Meet Blondie! This beautiful little girl was found in the rain in Baños on April 27th. She was shivering and very skinny. She was scared and hungry – couldn’t look away. She is a big lover! She is a petite lady, weighing 16lbs and is approximately 1 and a half years old. She is a big cuddle bug, loves to lay in your lap and give kisses. I had her checked out at the vet. She was treated for fleas and parasites, but appears to be in great health. She’s already gained weight since I found her.
She has had babies before. She is being spayed very soon, prior to adoption. Gets along with other dogs and cats. She loves to play. She plays fetch and enjoys a good chew toy. Considering she is a young dog, overall she has a calm demeanor. She is walking on a leash and doing very well with it. She appears to be potty trained although she has liberty to go potty in the front of my house. We had 1 accident in the house in her 2 weeks here. She does seem stressed by other small dogs on the street. I’m not sure why, but can recommend a trainer if needed. She has been lovely with my large dog and 2 cats. No issues at all at home. She seems friendly with all, including kids. If you’re offering her lap, she’s ready to cuddle.
She will make someone so happy. I would keep her if I could! She is a real gem and will be a lovely companion to the right person. She may require a small amount of training but she is a smart young lady full of lots of love to give to her forever family.
