We’re halfway through the month and we have some great activities at idiomART in the final weeks!
Copper Creations Workshop:
We have just a couple spots left for this class! Learn how to fold copper sheets into roses and how to weave recycled copper wire into little baskets. Workshop is taught by local artisan, Marco Machado, who is carrying on the family tradition!

Beaded Embroidery Class
In this 2-day workshop you’ll first learn different beading techniques then you’ll apply it to a fabric of your choice. This workshop is very hands on and lots of fun!

Saturday Salon: Street Photography with Scott Cushing
In this salon Scott will define street photography, explain the history and discuss the ethics of it.

2nd Road Trip with idiomART and CCC Spanish…Sevilla de Oro!
Travel down the picturesque Paute Valley to Sevilla de Oro where you will take a boat ride along the 32 km of water at the dam and observe birds as well as other flora and fauna, learn about the local culture and how they overcame having their river dammed for one of the oldest hydroelectric projects in Ecuador, and finish it off with an amazing lunch in a renovated hacienda.

Catalina Carrasco art opening, “Alquimia Mística”.
Local artist, Catalina Carrasco will be showing her incredible artwork at idiomART for the month of April. Opening is April 7. Stay tuned for more information…
