ParticipantToday, Saturday Oct. 8, is the final day of our current art exhibition at idiomART with artists Philip Hall and Pedro Pablo Tocabens.
If you haven’t seen the exhibition yet, make sure you find your way to idiomART today before they are taken down!
Main floor gallery:
“Crossing the T’s & Dotting the Eyes” – Philip Hall
An abstract collection of photos that play on reflections, movement, color and light. His photographs are oftentimes confused for paintings. Each image is a journey through one’s abstract consciousness and reminds us that reality can be blurred at the edges.Second floor gallery:
“Una Mirada No Dice Nada” – Pedro Pablo Tocabens
A collection of oil paintings that portray the way a human gaze can be both mesmerizing and haunting. His paintings invite us to reflect on how we may think we know what a person is thinking or feeling just by looking at his or her face, but can we be sure? His use of color and texture add life to the paintings causing the viewer to not only see the expressions but feel the emotions of the subject as well.Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 11:00 – 3:00 pm
Friday, Saturday: 11:00 – 5:00 pmYou can follow us on Facebook (@idiomart) and on Instagram (idiomart.cuenca)
