Cuenca Garden Co-op Seed Sale
As we come to the end of our first season, we have harvested seeds from our favorite heirloom plants. We offer these seeds for you to enjoy growing in our year-round Cuenca growing season.
Tomatoes: Opalka, a great paste tomato; Sun Gold Cherry; Cherokee Purple; Heinz Classic; Golden Sunburst Cherry; Nebraska Wedding
Peppers: Northern King Sweet Pepper; Sweet Banana, Jalapeño; Cayenne; Serrano; Habanero; Anaheim; Corno de Toro
Melons: our favorite is Tuscany, and Italian heirloom, producing small cantaloupe type fruits, easy to grow in a container
Squash: our favorite winter squash is named I Red Kuri, an heirloom from Australia, bright orange skin and flesh with a great flavor; again a great container plant
Bean: Kentucky Wonder, this heirloom is one of our two favorites, big producer
These seeds and others can be purchased at our farm, or by appointment in the city.
Also we are featuring the uvilla plant, easy to grow in a container on your patio or deck….this delightful fruit is a superfood, and one plant can give you 10-20 fruits each day.
