Graziano Fontana is a passionate and determined winemaker from Faedo, a small municipality in the province of Trento. In the early 1990s, Graziano took over his family’s winery, which had previously sold grapes to a cooperative. However, he decided to start producing and labeling his own wines. Despite owning only 12 hectares of vineyards, his winery offers a diverse range of high-quality wines. Initially focusing on white wines such as Müller Thurgau, Traminer, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, Graziano later expanded his production to include Pinot Noir and Lagrein. Graziano’s winemaking approach prioritizes the creation of fragrant, aromatic, varietal, and expressive wines rather than experimenting with unconventional blends.
