Join us at the Nomadas’ Cuenca Connection meta-comedy & Q & A dinner show! Held on the last Saturday of every month (17:00-20:00). The first one will be May 27, Saturday! The Cuenca Connection will create opportunities for new interconnections between gringos & a better international community. Nomadas’ monthly Cuenca Connection dinner show will be hosted by “Mark Wild” (Canadian; 63 years old!). Mark (aka Ian Roepke) was the founder of the Kyoto Connection that ran from 1985-2001 in Kyoto, Japan. Each “show” will feature: World-class comedy readings of Robert Brady’s work (visit www.smashwords.com and look for his work). Robert would rank with Mark Twain if he was interested in getting published . . . Mark Wild will also perform his own comedy skits and funnier anecdotes related to travel, human behavior, and other amusing takes on contemporary life. . . Mark has a 40-year journalism background and so Q & A will always be part of the show. Together we will explore topics, with a slightly hilarious bent, through Q & A and that can lead to almost anywhere . . . And LOTS of dancing between acts for those inclined to shimmy and boogie . . . Over time other acts will join the show: mime, local Canari-Incan music and others . . . RVSP through Team Nomadas @ “Nomadas Bistro Cuenca” on Fb. Updates? Visit “The Cuenca Connection” on Fb. Looking forward to building inter-community connections . . . to make Cuenca better and who knows . . .
