In this three-part drawing class, Daniel Williams will teach the fundamentals of drawing and sketching. Each one-week session is designed to build off of the information in previous sessions. We’ll begin by discussing how the rules of perspective allow us to imagine objects and represent the world around us. Then, we’ll spend a week applying these rules of perspectives to the different objects and textures in a basic line drawing class. Finally, we’ll use what we’ve learned to simplify the complex form of the human head.Â
Â
Each class will contain live demonstrations in which Daniel will explain both his personal thought process for drawing each subject and the information that he’s gathered on his self-driven, educational art journey.Â
Â
These courses are designed to help advance aspiring artists from the beginner level to intermediacy.Â
Â
You can sign up for the full 3-week course or register for each week separately. If you are a beginner, we advise you to take all 3 weeks as each topic builds on the previous one. Daniel does recommend that each student takes the perspective course unless you’re familiar with this building block.
