Please come out and support long-time idiomART resident artist, Alberto Soriano, this Friday (Oct. 6) at 7 pm for the opening of his art exhibit “El Encanto de la Imaginación y el Color” at the Excuela Central Gallery.
“In this exhibition, I invite you to explore a dream world where my brushes trace the limit between reality and fantasy. Each canvas represents a corner of my soul and an echo of my dreams.
From the “Religious Series” you will find memories from my birthplace in Cusco, Perú, intermixed with spirituality and devotion. My brushstrokes are nostalgic windows that follow the cobblestone streets of my youth.
In the “Migration Series” animals change into intrepid, urban explorers, while the fish dance among the leaves of the forest. Here, nature reclaims its space in a dance of colors and dreams.
In “My Fantasy World”, angels visit Cuenca, creating a bridge between heaven and earth. A place where spiritual manifestations bloom among daily life.
My work is a mirror of our evolution, of the innate beauty of nature, end of our hopes and dreams.
I welcome you all to my world of emotions and colors, where art converts its self into a universal language that soothes the soul and awakens the senses.”
