We are the organization FUPEC  (“Familias Unidas por las Enfermedades Catastróficas”), who are helping cancer and other catastrophic illnesses patients and their family members in need. We are looking for foreigners who would like to share their time and kindness to sick people in hospitals in Cuenca and practice their Spanish skills. As well you can teach the patients English, if they like to. This way both of you will have an exchange of languages and cultures.

For any help in Spanish, FUPEC will assist you and offer a language exchange for those who need it.
